How we work

At Woodun Limited we understand every flooring project is different.  A member of the team will discuss flooring options to suit your needs, whether they'd be for a growing family or in a high traffic area.  We can offer different wood grades and characters, widths, thicknesses and finishes. All our work is fully inspected by one of our site supervisors on completion.  Works can be done out of 'usual work' hours if your flooring project requires it.

Floor preparation

Our team are able to smooth out all types of substrates, whether it be floor screeding, latexing and priming including problematic damp problems.

Timber supply and floor fitting

We specialise in all aspects of contract and domestic flooring using both engineered hardwood flooring as well as solid timber.  Along with the most popular timber planks, we also supply and fit parquet flooring in chevron, herringbone, mansion weave and basket weave patterns. Bespoke designs can also be recreated. 

 

Floor sanding and polishing 

Floors can be brought back to life by the team with sanding and then finished using a variety of stains, oils or hardwaxes to protect and enhance its life.

Floor renovation/refurbishment

Our team can repair all types of wooden flooring, from sprung gymnasium to traditional wood block flooring, including heritage work. We specialise in Victorian / Georgian refurbishment.

Damp testing

We can test problematic substrates for moisture in the floor and with our up to date moisture metres and are often able to locate small leaks / problems without having to remove the entire floor.

Technical advice

We are happy to assist you on any technical matters.  We are a member of the Contract Flooring Association, the BwfA and Guild of Mastercraftsmen who can support us with problematic help and advice.

Removal of existing flooring

We are able to remove your existing flooring and dispose of it in an environmentally sound manner.  We hold a full waste carriers license.
